Thank you.

In taking the time to look through these web pages you justified their existence. There isn't much more a web page could ask.

I created these pages while living on Pohnpei, in the Federated States of Micronesia. The image at left is from a photo taken on Yap; the view out the door of my room at the Pathways Hotel. The photo of myself was taken there as well. Yap is one of my favorite places in the world, so it's appropriate that images from there grace these pages.

The web pages themselves were written slowly, over many months. The style seems as varied as the books I read in that time, as I adopt style from whatever is in my hands much as I whistle songs recently heard on the radio. Reconciling the styles of Emily Bronte and Christopher Moore has not been easy.

The subject matter is varied as well, although most topics seem to have assumed a technical cast. I've worked professionally in information technology for ten years, so I suppose that can be expected. I wrote as I found motivation but rarely finished by making the point I intended. The exception may lie within Ages.

My motivation for creating these pages? While working at the College of Micronesia-FSM I redesigned their web site and in the process created literally hundreds of separate pages. All of that content, however, is impersonal. It reflects upon and promotes the College, and while it was designed by me I'm not really a part of it. I also encouraged people to develop their own web pages and taught them how, yet had nothing to show of my own. These pages are my pages. When people are looking for me on the web, this is what I hope they discover.
