Emma Garcia is a licensed Chemical Engineer.  Back in the Philippines, she was previously a Science Research Specialist at the Department of Science and Technology Regional Office I in San Fernando City, La union.  She was a member of many committees devoted to Science Research.  She is not new to teaching though, as she also was a part-time professor at Pangasinan State University's Master of Management Engineering.
