Brian Boucher is on his eighth year of teaching already. He came to Pohnpei as part of the WorldTeach program, which sends volunteers all over the world to teach in places like Bangladesh, China, Kenya and the Marshall Islands. He arrived in the middle of July, and he will be staying here for a full year. 

He grew up in the city of Jacksonville, which is in the state of Florida, U.S.A.  He went to college first at Jacksonville University, where in 2003 he obtained his B.S. in Mathematics and Chemistry. He then went to the University of Florida in Gainesville and got his M.S. in Mathematics last year.
