- Write large and small numbers in scientific notation (e.g. 3.1 x 104)
- Convert decimals to fractions and fractions to decimals
- Multiply and divide mentally by powers of 10 (e.g. 34 x 100 = 3400)
- Combine objectives 4 and 9 above (e.g. 3/40 = .075)
- Calculate a percentage of a number (e.g. 30% of 400 = 120)
- Convert a decimal to a percentage and vice versa
- Calculate the percentage of increase or decrease between two numbers

- Course Content:
- Operations with fractions
- Operations with decimals
- Operations with percentage
- Reading and constructing graphs
- Mental calculations with integers
- Evaluation: The letter grades of A, B, C, D, and F will be given based on the average numerical grades earned from exams, assignments, quizzes, and Examination.
A = 90 - 100%
B = 80 - 89%
C = 70 - 79%
D = 60 - 69%
F = 0 - 59%
- Credit by Examination: No credit-by-examination provided
- Attendance Policy: If a student misses seven days of regular classes in a course will automatically be dropped from that course. The seven missed days include excused absence for sickness, funerals, and other circumstances.
