Yap Campus Teams Win Volleyball Varsity Championship Games

Colonia, Yap (December 23, 2013) - Two teams from Yap Campus, the COM-FSM Sharks and COM-FSM Lady Sharks, earned first place during the finals of the volleyball championship games at the Sports Complex on December 15, 2013.   

Schools participating in the volleyball tournament included Yap Seventh Day Adventist School (SDA), Yap Catholic High School (YSHS), Yap High School (YHS), and COM-FSM Yap Campus.

The Lady Sharks won both sets against YHS Girls with a score of 25/16 and 25/18 during the Championships Games.  The Sharks claimed the trophy after three sets against YHS, with scores of 25/18, 19/25, and 15/11. 

Members of the COM-FSM Sharks consist of the following: Dominic Gadad, Junior Yinugtamag, Daniel Bugulrow, Peter Dorbee, Julian Gamokbay, John Yinug, Jordan Figir, Jordan Mootman,  Zackary Choay, Joshua Bmaw, Quincy Somar, and Roger Mow. 

The COM-FSM Lady Sharks are; Lindsey Sigrah, Gina Rae Fanapin, Edita Bechey, Gloria Gomlee, Barbara Gorfich, Dorinda Laayow, Joymelyn You, and Trista Finiynug.
