Kosrae Campus 14th Commencement Exercises
(Tofol, Kosrae) - On July 25, 2013 Kosrae Campus held its 14TH Commencement Exercises. Hundreds of people gathered to witness the special event.
Among those who came during the graduation ceremony was the Kosrae State Governor, the Honorable Lyndon H. Jackson who accepted the candidates and offered encouragement and support as the graduates looked forward toward their future.
Other State leaders who were present were Lt. Governor Carson Sigrah, cabinet members and senators from the Kosrae State Legislature, Municipal Mayors and private sector administrators.
According to Office of Admissions and Records specialist Mr. Dokowe George, twenty eight students were considered as candidates for graduation. Seven candidates for Associates of Arts (A.A.) degrees in Teacher Preparation Program, two in A.A. Liberal Arts, and 2 candidates in Associates of Science (A.S.) Teacher Education – Elemtary.
Other programs include A.A. S. in Electronic Technology(5 candidates), Advanced Certificate of Achievement in Electronic(6 candidates),and one with a Certificate of Achievement in Electronic-Engineering Technology. Last but not the least, 5 candidates were presented with Certificate of Achievement in Agriculture & Food Technology.
