[RFP No.B2022-08] For Program Assistant Evaluator/Trainer

GENERAL PURPOSE: The College of Micronesia-FSM (COM-FSM) is seeking proposals from experienced and qualified organizations or individuals who will assist with data collection for the grant, conduct research and evaluation of grant build partnerships, teach one course on youth mental health first aid (YMHFA), CPR training and as stated in the terms, conditions and specifications contained in this Request for Proposal (RFP).

  • Assist with collecting evaluation data as needed
  • Teach annual Youth Mental Health First Aid Training in Pohnpei
  • Provide annual American Heart Association Heartsavers Cardiopulmonary Resusucitation/ Basic Life Support Training
  • Assist Dentists and Doctors For Tomorrow (DDFT) students with completing data collection through IT Savvy or other mechanisms
  • Assist with coordinating the visits of the volunteer oral health professionals to provide education and motivational acitivities.

Eligibility and Qualifications of the Consultant:
To be eligible to respond to this RFP, the organization/individual must have a master’s degree in an area related to oral health, medicine, nursing, public health, or allied health disciplines, or program evlaulation and monitoring; be certified as an American Heart Association CPR/BLS trainer; five years of experience in higher education teaching in one or more of the following areas: oral health, medicine, nursing, allied health, or associated topics; working knowledge of topics related to medicine, dentistry, healthcare, education, international development, and the delivery of services in a resource-limited environment; demonstrated ability to establish and sustain positive working relationships and collaboration among a diverse group of stakeholders; excellent written and verbal communications skills (must be well versed in Microsoft Office programs); experience evaluating grant projects and ability to collect, interpret, and present data in a meaningful way

TERMS/CONDITIONS:
The successful candidate may be awarded a professional services contract for the services identified in this RFP. Issuance of this RFP does not commit COM-FSM to award a contract or to pay any costs incurred in preparation of proposals responding to the RFP. It is expected of the consultant to provide service payment billing and compensation proposals for considerations upon negotiations, if any occurred, to conincide with the college existing compensation policy and procudures.

REVIEW RIGHTS:
The college reserves the right to accept or reject any or all responses to this RFP and to enter into discussions and/or negotiations with one or more qualified bidders at the same time, if such action is in the best interest of the College of Micronesia-FSM.
