Kosrae Campus Holds Its 17th Commencement Exercises
Tofol, Kosrae (July 28, 2016) – Kosrae Campus celebrated its 17th Commencement Exercises on July 22, 2016. In attendance was well over a 100 members of the Kosrae community, in addition to Kosrae State Governor Lyndon Jackson, Board of Regents (BOR) Chairman Dr. Tulensru Waguk, BOR Secretary Jesse Salalu, and visiting from the National Campus Professor Susan Moses.
Faculty of the Year Sharon Oviedo led the processional as flag bearer, and opening remarks was provided by Dean Nena Mike. Ms. Hetty W. Edmond delivered the valedictory address on behalf of her fellow graduates.Following the conferral of degrees and certificates, Governor Jackson presented the acceptance of the graduates.
Ten students completed their programs in Pre-Teacher Preparation, Agriculture & Food Technology (AFT), Electronic and Engineering Technology (EET), and Advanced Certificate in Electronics Technology. Graduating were: Tulen W. Lipan, Perelini T. Likiaksa, Hetty W. Edmond (Pre-Teacher Preparation), George Clarence George, Leeson L. George, Charles H. Robert, Roldon R. Timothy (AFT), JayJay Lee P. Abraham, Charley N. Mike (EET), and KC Casey T. Siba (Adv. Cert ET).
