Senate Announces Faculty and Staff Representatives For Academic Year

The COM-FSM Faculty/Staff Senate, also known as the Senate, is pleased to announce its complete lineup of representatives from the entire College for the academic year 2011-2012.

The Senate serves as a forum to discuss and debate new and existing policies or issues affecting the College, especially faculty and staff. Its members include all COM-FSM employees, whether full-time or part-time, with the exception of the President.

With the College currently on probation, the Senate is expected to play a vital role in helping to improve communication across campuses by ensuring broad-based participation in the exchange of different points of view, taking the lead in generating open dialogue among faculty, staff and administration, and encouraging active involvement in participatory governance.
