[Updated] 50/50 Raffle Draw Inches Closer to Drawing Date

Palikir, Pohnpei (September 8, 2014)  - The college has officially launched its latest fundraising activity, the 50/50 Raffle Draw on September 15, 2014, as part of its annual fundraising activities.  The drawing date is on December 13, 2014, at the Pohnpei Campus front parking lot, beginning at 9:00AM.

There will be live music and consolation prizes. If anyone in the community is interested in setting up a booth to sell food, or any items, you can set up a booth free of charge.

The goal is to sell at least 200 tickets to raise $40,000; the winner would get $20,000 and the Endowment Fund would see the other $20,000. Each ticket costs $200.  The tickets can be bought in groups, the more groups you join, the better your chances of winning.

Below are samples of a group purchase and the prize money to be won:

·       A group of 4 – each person pays $50 and possibly wins $5,000

·       A group of 5 – each person pays $40 and possibly wins $4,000

·       A group of 8 – each person pays $25 and possibly wins $2,500

·       A group of 10 – each person pays $20 and possibly wins $2,000

·       A group of 16 – each person pays $12.50 and possibly wins $1,250

·       A group of 20 – each person pays $10 and possibly wins $1,000

·       A group of 25 – each person pays $8 and possibly wins $800

·       A group of 40 – each person pays $5 and possibly wins $500

·       A group of 50 – each person pays $4 and possibly wins $400

·       A group of 100 -- each person pays $2 and possibly wins $200
