Course Description: This course introduces the student to the theory of electricity, basic components used in the electrical industry and the relationship of voltage, current, resistance and power. This course will also enable the student to perform basic measurements by using an electrical measuring device and analyzing electrical circuits. Student will connect different types of electrical circuits. The course emphasizes on testing electrical components of refrigeration and air conditioning system. It also includes the theoretical and practical practices of rewiring and troubleshooting domestic refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
